Requirements Development, Prototyping and Evaluation

eFuel is experienced in the capture of user and other requirements toward the successful creation of an information system, through: design and development of methodology; stakeholder consultations and interviews; requirements gathering, analysis and prioritization; recommendations, implementation plan and budget development; and, report preparation and executive briefings. Prototyping services include: development of interface screens; graphic and Web design; creation of data models; specification of hardware and software environment; software development; as well as user testing and user feedback analysis.

• Preparation of business plan for more effective usage of George Brown College's Microelectronics Centre, a unique educational and applied research facility. The project included interview questionnaire design, conducting stakeholder interviews, background research on market demands and direction, as well as documentation of recommendations and an implementation plan. [Client: George Brown College]

• Development of user needs assessment and functional requirements for a student clinical placement system for all Nursing programs at universities and colleges across Ontario (approximately 40 educational institutions, plus their affiliated hospitals and other health care placement sites). The project included regional consultation meeting design and execution, interview questionnaire design, conducting interviews, background research on available information systems, general design of a new system, preparation of an implementation plan and budget as well as overall recommendations.
